While in the shower or bath you can take advantage of using an antibacterial soap to kill bacteria. There are also plenty of natural type shower gels that can be effective in killing bacteria. Look for ones that contain Neem and Tea Tree Oil.
When you step out of the shower, make sure you completely dry your underarms. You can also put talcum powder (or baking soda) under your arms to help prevent odor and keep them dry.
